Our 2nd Chance Chicks!

A while back we heard that some lovely chickens were going to be gotten rid of because they’d stopped laying eggs and had begun to molt so all their feathers were falling out (don’t worry this is normal & the feathers grow back!)

We couldn’t let them be taken away so we adopted every single one of them & call them our 2nd Chance Chicks. As you can tell by the picture, they’ve settled into their new home at Red Tobacco Farm and even get treated to the occasional piece of cake!

The chickens have made a lovely new addition to the farm & are now part of our ever growing animal family.
